Vizag III

SUCCESS!!!! FINALLY!

the expected set of sunsets. this one is on rushikionda beach.

this one is the hill behind our hotel

this one is the sky at rushikonda at a point when sunset seemed to become dawn

I like to call this one watercolour wave. :D

need i explain? wish i had managed a better picture though.

Vizag Part II

Since blogger and my comp seem to be conspiring to not let me post the remaining fotos, am going to be sneaky and try a new post. wish me luck!

this one mes amis is not the grand canyon, but the side of a channel that sewage had dug through the sand. i just loved the layers of colour.

the rock. me mum gave me a complicated essplanashun of wot they were and why they were, but all i know is that they are exquisitely crafted by the sea.

the best of several sad attempts to get a dramatic shot of spray dashing on rocks. wld have helped if the rocks and the waves were bigger.

the lil beach where we spent sunday morning...it's prolly gone now.

a strange memorial whose object has been obliterated by weather and vandalism. with the beloved striated rock.

Vizag

Our planned impulse weekend getaway was fabulous. since we didnt do much more than plonk on a beach and get up only to change beaches, there aren't pictures of a lot else. damn! rest of fotos not loading, will try again later.

fellow beach bum takin pickshures

Monsoon Studies

Apart from corniness of title, these really pictures of the monsoon in hyd. Pliss to keep in mind the first three were taken one-handed while stuck in traffic.
The rain throwing shadows on the dahsboard.
raindrops on the windshield.
sheets of rain
Monsoon sunset from terrace
The morning after the terrific rain we had in the first 3 pictures.

Woik

vandalism.
[ since i ALLUS forgets to introduce the pickshures before i upload em, lemme say these are from a recent daytrip to a 10th century fort 40km out of hyd. ]

the still standing ruins

this one i like to call cheese wall.

in a flagrant violation of privacy to capture a nice shot, here's a couple sitting very picturesquely in the missdle of the arch. thanks to the NS for pointing it out to me.

This is a very lucky shot where the birds were kind enough to fly past juuuust as i framed it.

dil-chahta-hai shot of junta chillin.

one of the few places the old moulding is actually still visible, it must have been so beautiful.

the still inhabited castle in another village in castilia

the cathedral at leon, with poplar fluff looking like snowflakes.
